OFF THE COURT

Outside of basketball, philanthropy is a something that Devaughn Akoon-Purcell has always taken very seriously. Whether it be through hosting camps such as the Taylor Sports Group Camp and the DAP x Mandatory Camp (which is coming up again soon), or other philanthropic efforts like backpack giveaway, Turkey Drives, and Feed the Homeless Events, Akoon-Purcell has always made it a priority to give back to his community. There truly is no limit to Akoon-Purcell's creativity when it comes to giving back, as he even serves as the shoe sponsor for a High School Basketball team.
